In November, 2013 the Georgia Chapter received a grant from the American Harp Society national organization for the upcoming Young Performers' Concerto Debut concert. The April 15th 2014 concerto performance will be at the Atlanta area's famed Spivey Hall on the campus of Clayton State University.

This event will provide an important opportunity for student members (age 10-18) of the chapter to perform a concerto in public as an ensemble BEFORE they have to go it alone. Participants will audition to ensure that they are prepared to participate in scheduled coachings and the performance. The concerto will be performed as a group with short solos for those who are the most confident.

The concert will expose the orchestra's players to the harp, as well as, the greater community.
